Dr. David J. Ellison

Dr. David J. Ellison leads and facilitates executive development workshops in strategy, marketing and innovation as a principal and faculty member of Monitor Executive Development. He has designed and led programs globally to develop senior management capabilities in making better strategic choices in many industries including financial services, medical products, pharmaceuticals, fast moving consumer goods, and high technology. David joined Monitor from the faculty of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he received multiple awards for his teaching in the MBA program. David holds a Ph.D. and a M.A. in Business Economics from Harvard University and a M.S. in Industrial Engineering and B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi. A native Californian, David lives in the Boston area with his wife and four children. He is an avid cyclist, scuba diver and skier.
