The most powerful way to coach for the best in leaders and teams is action-oriented. Our strength is coaching in the thick of the action — when it’s possible to observe, diagnose, and encourage people to new levels of thinking and behavior through insightful questions and feedback. This coaching might take place during action-learning team meetings, learning journeys, or while working with a team on a critical business challenge. Underlying our approach is a deep regard for the power of self-knowledge and peer wisdom, so we frequently offer structure and training for people to coach each other as they work.
In addition, Monitor has a network of specialized executive coaches who deliver unique leadership programs that simultaneously focus on individual growth in personalized sessions, team performance through group experiences, and the organizational leadership culture by drawing out systemic challenges. These coaches use a structured approach which ensures consistency and enables the coaches to coordinate their efforts in either stand-alone projects or as part of a larger program.
